How often should commercial windows be cleaned?
Most commercial properties require quarterly window cleaning. However, high-traffic retail stores, restaurants, and office buildings in urban areas benefit from monthly or bi-monthly cleaning schedules. We work with FM companies to create bespoke cleaning schedules that maintain professional appearance while optimizing costs.
When is rope access required instead of a MEWP?
Rope access is ideal for buildings with limited ground access, where MEWPs cannot reach, or when BMUs (Building Maintenance Units) are out of service. It's faster to set up, more cost-effective for complex facades, and safer in tight urban environments. Our IRATA-certified technicians can access any height safely and efficiently.
Do you work across the UK?
Yes. We're Scotland-based but provide commercial window cleaning and rope access services across the entire UK. We specialize in multi-site retail contracts, nationwide FM partnerships, and can mobilize teams to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, and beyond.
Are your rope access technicians IRATA trained?
Yes. All our rope access technicians are IRATA certified (Levels 1, 2, and 3). We're an IRATA Company Member (8221/O), which means we maintain the highest industry standards for training, safety, and operational procedures. Our team includes Level 3 supervisors who oversee all high-risk rope access work.
What happens if fixed access systems (BMUs) are unavailable?
Where permanent access systems are unavailable or under maintenance, we provide compliant alternative access solutions, including IRATA rope access, aligned with site RAMS and permit requirements. We work with building managers to ensure all work meets O&M documentation standards.
What certifications and compliance documentation do you provide?
We're IRATA Full Member (8221/O), SafeContractor approved, Avetta registered, and EcoVadis SILVER rated. We provide full RAMS (Risk Assessment & Method Statements), rescue plans, public liability insurance (£10M), employer's liability insurance, and all technician certifications. Our systems are ISO-aligned for quality, environmental, and safety management.
Do you handle multi-site retail contracts?
Yes. We have capacity for 100+ store rollouts and work with national retail chains including Spar, YO! Sushi, and mydentist. We provide dedicated account management, centralized invoicing, and nationwide coverage with consistent quality standards across all sites.

What is the process once we request a quote?
